Who is it for?
Individual psychotherapy is a professional form of psychological support for adults who are experiencing emotional, relational, professional, or existential difficulties — or simply wish to better understand themselves and bring about meaningful change in their lives.
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy. It’s for anyone looking for a safe space to reflect, explore and work through personal issues, gain insight, and improve their emotional well-being.
What happens in the first session?
The first meeting is usually a psychological consultation. It’s a chance to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy.
Together, we explore:
- your current concerns,
- the main themes you’d like to work on,
- and your goals for therapy.
This consultation may remain a one-off session or lead to a decision to begin regular therapeutic work.
How long does therapy last?
I offer:
- short-term therapy – a few to several sessions (to address a specific issue or situation),
- long-term therapy – lasting several months or longer (focused on deeper self-exploration and lasting change).
Sessions are usually held weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs and availability.
Where do sessions take place?
Individual therapy is available:
- in person – at my practice in London,
- online – via secure video platforms such as MS Teams.
This allows you to access therapy wherever you are – in the UK or anywhere in the world.
