What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a form of professional psychological support based on regular sessions with a qualified psychotherapist. It’s a collaborative process grounded in dialogue and therapeutic relationship, aimed at deepening self-understanding, working through difficulties, and improving overall quality of life.
Psychotherapy can help in coping with intense emotions, stress, personal and relational crises. It can also be a space for growth, self-awareness, and transformation.
How I work
I am a certified psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience. I work within the framework of process-oriented psychology, integrating elements of mentalization-based treatment (MBT) and other approaches tailored to each client’s individual needs.
Sessions are held in a respectful, confidential, and safe space – in person in London or online, in either Polish or English.
Individual psychotherapy
One-to-one sessions for adults who:
- experience anxiety, tension, sadness, or symptoms of depression,
- struggle in relationships – romantic, family, or professional,
- go through emotional, existential, or life crises,
- feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from meaning or purpose,
- suffer from psychosomatic symptoms (e.g. tension, pain, insomnia),
- encounter challenges in parenting,
- want to better understand themselves, their emotions, and needs,
- seek personal growth, clarity, or inner alignment,
- face difficulties related to living abroad – loneliness, loss, lack of belonging, or cultural adjustment issues.
Psychotherapy for women – motherhood, fertility, and baby loss
I am particularly passionate about supporting women and working with the experience of the body. I offer support in various stages of life, including:
- pregnancy and the postpartum period,
- struggles with fertility,
- baby loss,
- pregnancy after loss.
In such moments, psychotherapy can become a space for self-care, for processing pain and grief, and for finding new meaning and hope.
Couples therapy
I work with couples who:
- face difficulties in communication or feel emotionally distant,
- are going through crises – due to infertility, betrayal, or major life transitions,
- struggle with loss of connection, intimacy, or trust,
- want to reconnect, rebuild trust, and improve their relationship,
- are going through grief after baby loss.
My approach is grounded in mindfulness, respect, and empathetic understanding – holding space for both the joyful and painful aspects of parenting and being together.
Wondering if psychotherapy is right for you?
That’s completely natural. Therefore the first session is a consultation – a space to explore your current situation, needs, and expectations. You don’t need to have all the answers or clear goals to begin.
Psychotherapy is not just about treating symptoms – it’s a space where you can hear yourself and find your way forward.
